What mic are you using and what's your recording space like?

    I'm just recording using my MacBook's microphone and a quiet space. I'm still starting out so I don't have all the equipment yet, but since this audition, I've discovered the "blanket method" so my vocals are now more clear and way less spacey,

    so it will be easier to work with when you edit. But I understand if it's not ideal for this project! Thank you!

      You’ve got a lot of potential, but yeah—your vocals do sound pretty echoey. I’d love to hear what it sounds like if you try the “blanket method.” If that’s not an option, maybe try recording in a closed room or even in your car. Surprisingly, your MacBook’s mic actually isn’t that bad. If you can submit another audition with those improvements I can keep you in mind for the future.

Zorii Bliss is a mysterious, no nonsense spice runner from Kijimi with a sharp tongue and a complicated past. She's tough, guarded, and fiercely independent, but underneath the mask is someone who’s loyal to those she trusts, even if she rarely shows it. Her voice should carry a cool confidence, a bit of sarcasm, and emotional weight when the mask slips. We're looking for a near perfect impression that captures her sleek, sly delivery and subtle vulnerability.
