[PAUSED] Beneath The Red Hood
Stephen Bryson for The Wolf
LUPIN "WOLFEY"
(Male Protaganist)
Lupin, is a man shaped by solitude. Gruff, quiet, and always distant, he lives hidden in the woods where he believes no one will be burdened by him. Once a stray child taken in by an old woman in the forest, he knew love—but also loss.
That love was shattered the night he accidentally caused the death of the woman he called “Grandmother”—an act that still claws at his conscience. Since then, Lupin has lived as though his humanity died with her, punishing himself with exile and stoicism.
When Rubi stumbles into his lonely world, cloaked in red and smiling despite her pain, he doesn’t know what to do with her light. But bit by bit, she chips away at the cold shell he’s built, making him question if perhaps he is not the monster he fears to be.
