John is a CSX SD40-2 #8395, who was built in March of 1971 and was built for Chesapeake & Ohio which later would become Chessie System and then later CSX after it merged with Seaboard, his original number was #7538. He is a very chill, hippie engine who really enjoys getting high from weed. His attitude came from his driver who was against the Vietnam War and his love for weed while on breaks rubbed off him too although his driver was fired in January of 1972, his drivers attitude rubbed of the young John.
