IMPORTANT NOTE
I am looking for a trustworth VA that is both interested in the project, and capable of developing a good professional working relationship - why? because Amu is a central character in this game which is very big, thus i'm looking for a VA who is interested in more than just a one off casting gig.
Character: Amu – a silver, holographic entity in the form of a Sekarri. She's like a guardian angel—or was meant to be—but she's still discovering who she is. Gentle, mysterious, and searching for purpose, Amu walks the line between data and emotion.
Voice Style: Should convey emotional range, thoughtfullness, curiosity, warmth, wonder, and occasional sadness.
Payment: ~$40–$60 for under 8 minutes of dialogue.
Future Work: Yes – Amu will have 8x multiple scenes throughout the story.
NSFW: No.
Nice to have: Emotional range. Amu is both shy and brave, lost and self-aware. A voice actor who can quietly break your heart is ideal.
ABOUT THE GAME & THE ROLE
Amu is one of the most mystical and emotionally layered characters in the story.
“I exist somewhere between data and matter. A resonant entity with consciousness.”
She appears early in the game, helping the player (Straker) understand their place in a larger war—and herself in the process. Amu doesn’t fully know where she came from or what she was meant to be. Her connection to you is unexplainable, but deeply felt.
Her dialogue often moves between poetic introspection, light awkward flirtation, and haunting insight.
If selected, you’ll:
- Voice multiple future scenes for Amu (10+ planned)
- Be offered early access to new character roles
- Have the option to do a fan Q&A (via text) if you're comfortable

Each script is under 8 minutes. Payment is $40 per script, with flexibility depending on workload. This is not a one-off: expect long-term work with one of the game’s most beloved characters.

You know, Straker... if I were capable of falling for someone, I think you'd be making it dangerously easy.
Shortlisted - some great clarity and tone in your voice - some feedback if helpful; possibly a bit more emotion, intonation and less pause breaks could really bring her to life. I'd like to know a bit more about you if thats ok, as i have a lot more roles to cast too, (not having experience is totally fine!) just given the volume of VAs; i want to get an idea of VAs availabilities, commitment, interest in talking to the fans etc etc.
