Master Splinter, also known as Hamato Yoshi, is the Sensei and adoptive father of the Turtles. A stoic and sage mutant rat proficient in ninjutsu and martial arts, in which he continues to teach the Turtles on top of any wisdom he can offer. His relationship with the Turtles is just as much father-and-sons as it is master-and-students.
