Dorian is a 23-year-old biomedical engineering student — intelligent, creative, grounded, and deeply in love. He’s been in a long-distance relationship with Evangeline Vasco for four years, and when the story opens, he’s flying to Virginia to propose to her. But instead of a reunion, he walks into a nightmare.
As the emotional heart of Where We Lie, Dorian must carry scenes of romantic vulnerability, grief, paranoia, and steady unraveling — shifting from hopeful narrator to desperate investigator. This role requires a voice actor who can portray emotional depth and inner conflict while still sounding relatable and grounded.
🎧 VOICE REQUIREMENTS:Medium-toned, smooth voice with natural warmth
Must express layered emotion: joy, heartbreak, fear, frustration, resolve
Ability to shift between grounded narration and emotionally tense scenes
Strong mic technique and clean audio setup
Previous experience with audio drama or narrative podcasting a plus
