What they didn’t know was that behind closed doors, Rento made secret arrangements—profiting from the very crimes he was sent to end. When one of these deals fell apart, his exposure became imminent. The promise of sanctuary sounded ideal—a place where he wouldn’t have to talk his way out of guilt anymore. Throughout the game, he treats everyone as beneath him and is this game's Byakuya Togami.
