Toby is highly competitive with a strong desire and need to win over his older brother, Connor. He always feels helpless and powerless, which causes him to have a short fuse and lash out. Because of his own sense of competition, his disinterest in sports, and jealousy towards his brother and father’s relationship, Toby tends to barricade himself from others and unknowingly makes himself an outcast. He also isn’t very outgoing and rarely makes friends in fear of being let down. He grows to eventually care for the friends he does have. (Please record all audition lines for this role.
