Sahed is reclusive and sticks to himself, not attending the bonfire parties held at night and rarely going out in the mornings to have breakfast with the others. Despite this, he's not completely antisocial, but rather someone who finds it hard to trust those around him due to the abuse and discrimination the Ah'kon people have faced at the hands of the Kalgratti government. This distrust extends to the rest of the circus as he finds many of the members to be selfish for their ignorance of the outside world, causing him to be reluctant to interact with people other than Rainah. Deep down, he seems to yearn for relationships with people he can put his trust in.

After Julia agrees to work with him, Sahed starts to open himself up to her. He remains teasing, shamelessly flirting with her with the intent to fluster her, but eventually comes to genuinely care for her, promising to help her return home.
