Blue pearl is one of four characters in the first comic and will be reoccurring!

Info from their character sheet:
Originally a defect blue pearl without legs or the ability to really think, her and a bunch of other pearls were sent to the lab and were pawned around till Peru got his hands on the pearls, and through a lot of carving, the original pearl being fused to other gem shards, she was reformed to actually be able to function, minus the legs still which Peru carved out of naturally forming agate. Totally not a ref to land of the lustrous.
