Mr. Takagi is the overarching antagonist of the Tomie franchise. When Tomie seemingly returns from the dead, Takagi seemingly goes insane when she tries to engage with him again.  

  • (Being interviewed) I hear some are still missing. She was just chopped into bits. They don’t even know who did it. I can’t tell you how scared I am. And right after our field trip. I can’t help feeling responsible. I mean as her teacher….

  • (disbelief) So tell me who are you really? Tomie’s twin sister maybe?

  • (terrified) Tomie, let go! LET GO!
