Dar'balag, while very different from most Khajiit, is still part of their race and sticks to their manner of speaking. He will discuss himself in 3rd person and he also uses some of Ta'agra language within his dialogue.

I will warn anyone who wants to audition for this part that it is fairly morbid. The topics and imagery discussed within the quest are fairly visceral and at points, unpleasant to hear. This is all intentional and nothing oversteps any boundaries, I just wanted to make it clear before you audition.

Dar'balag is meant to be a very unnerving character, someone who is uncaring of the Player's opinion and is solely comitted to his morally ambigious goals. I would like him to have somewhat of an uncanny voice, one that should add to the atmosphere of confusion and fear.

To maintain this, he will maintain a rather eery monotoney within his voice, even when discussing visceral or disgust imagery. I will add indicators to certain lines if I believe this should change.

The actual voice of him will likely be on the deeper side to match his unnerving nature, though if you deem a different voice a better fit, feel free to audition with said voice.

This NPC has 127 lines of dialogue to be voiced and a % cut of the mod's revenue will be shared with the selected VA. Do take into consideration how wordy the lines are so do not expect a short and easy script.
