E-123 (Ｅ－１２３, Ī Wan-Tsū-Surī?), codenamed Ω or Omega (オメガ, Omega?), is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. He is a robot created by Dr. Eggman as the last and most powerful of his E-100 Series line of robots. However, Omega was locked in a vault to guard the amnesiac Shadow the Hedgehog. Furious at being squandered this way, Omega swore revenge on his creator. Eventually, Rouge the Bat activated him by accident, convincing Omega to join her and Shadow as Team Dark to face Eggman. Although Omega has yet to destroy Dr. Eggman, he continues to fight the Eggman Empire to prove himself as the strongest robot of all time, occasionally aiding others in the process.
