I loved your demo, you have the perfect voice and tone as well as the ability to carry the story in the direction it needs to go!

I definitely want you for the role of Molly, this is the voice and cadence I hear when she speaks as I write.

A little more about the project:

I came up with the idea for Big Daddy’s Family as a way to honor the men who get it right! There is so much negativity in the world and in America about how men are not measuring up, that I thought I’d just take the time to mention and honor those who not only measure up but excel! Good husbands, great fathers, pillars in their communities and in their church (I do know such men!) And also introduce their families and friends as a testimony of what life is like when people get it right! 

It is my prayer that I will do it justice and that the show and the characters will be loved by many as it is loved by me and my small team and that it will be monetized sooner rather than later!

Big Daddy’s Family is a heartwarming animated dramedy that follows the multigenerational Waters family as they navigate love, loss, and tradition in a tightly knit predominantly black neighborhood in Pittsburgh.

Though Julius “Big Daddy” Waters has passed, his presence still shapes the lives of his wife Jasmine “Big Momma” Waters, their daughters Anna and Rochelle, their loving but clashing spouses, and their grown children—all carrying forward his values of love, strength, and humor.

With a cast of richly layered characters—from the outspoken Opal and her devoted husband Will, to the sweet-natured Molly and her adoring husband Theodore, to the insightful Alima adapting to American life—each episode explores family bonds, cultural legacy, and the kind of laughter that only comes from knowing someone your whole life. Add in lifelong friends, church members, and a boundary-testing neighborhood boy named Adam, and Big Daddy’s Family becomes a beautifully familiar portrait of what it means to belong.

Thank you so much for the chance for me to try out for the role of Molly! This will be my first ever voice over, so to hear that my delivery is what you’re looking for is quite the confidence boost.

As a person raised by men trying their best, I understand the message you want to convey with Big Daddy’s Family. These characters sound like they’ve been through so much, but do so with dedication and love (and a bit of mischief in Adam’s case), and playing as Molly would be a great opportunity.

I do have a question in terms of audio quality. I know my microphone isn’t the absolute best, but based on the demo I sent, would it be okay for now?
