Dimitri himself is a sleezy guy in a cheap suit that doesn't speak english very well, having been a tribal before "becoming civilized". As such, he speaks english exclusively through dated 1970's jive slang, as he learned english through dated films of that era.
I dig the kinetic asthetic. And like a disco with many lights, I am grooving to the sound of it.
