The Innkeeper is a middle-aged to elderly woman very comfortable in her life tending to a small, isolated inn. She is startled when a man drags a comatose woman into the inn looking for help, and offers to take care of the woman in exchange for a heavy fee. Such is the cost of business, after all.
[Door to Inn creaks open] INNKEEPER, startled: Oh! Gods. // MAN: Ah—sorry. I’m…looking for a room. Two, actually. // INNKEEPER: Alright. …Whoa, what happened to her?
INNKEEPER (sucking teeth): Ehh…nearest town’s two days by cart. I know a bit of alchemy though. Could try some revitalizing elixirs, see if I can’t perk her up a bit. My nan taught me what she knew. // MAN: Whatever you can do. Please. And…how much will this cost? // INNKEEPER, probing: …How much do ya got?
