Thanks! I had some classical singing training a while back! 😁

Excellent work! Fantastic projection - excellent articulation/enunciation and great variation in your read. Well done! You nailed the homework on projection! And good for you on adding a little something at the end that would make a casting director smile. Particularly with animation and characters (and other scenarios certainly!) If you can make the casting director laugh (in a positive way) you did a good job. It increases your chances of being booked. (Granted this isn’t always appropriate so take that with a grain of salt!)

0:44 kind of tripped a little on ā€œaffordableā€, if you hear a word come out kind of funny during recording, don’t be afraid to go ahead and do a pick-up and re-do that word. Your editing self will appreciate your effort later. When you misread (happens to everyone and it’s okay!), it’s highly encouraged to start again at the beginning of the sentence or paragraph or a point that would make it easy to remove and replace the mistake during editing. If you just keep going and don’t return to a solid point that makes it easy to edit out the mistake, you may need to come back later and re-record, and it becomes challenging to make it sound the same as the original recording. So, a good rule of thumb is to record so that it’s easy to edit later. You did very well with your first flub at the beginning, so continue doing this.

1:16 sounds like an extra ā€œstā€ sound snuck in at the end of ā€œinterestā€. It helps to add a slight extra pause between words ending in ā€œtā€ and the next word starting with ā€œtā€ to  help fully pronounce them cleanly.

2:13 ā€œpurchaseā€ instead of ā€œpurchasesā€ - minor word change

Again, well done! Keep on keeping on.

Thank you for the feedback! I'll work on listening back to my auditions more carefully! <3
