Nice work! Your accent is a great addition to your voice acting toolbox. And, if you speak another language fluently, I would definitely post that on your website when you have one because that puts you ahead in the game being multilingual!

Continue to practice reading out loud and focusing on enunciation and articulation - the more you do it the easier it will become.

0:04 read “performances” instead of “performance”  - be aware of changing words and dropping or adding “s”

0:06 “hospitality” mispronounced. Be sure to read at a slow enough pace to fully pronounce the words. Don’t be afraid to look up how to pronounce words online if you aren’t familiar with them. Some great reference sources include: Cambridge Dictionary (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/), youglish.com, and forvo.com and You Tube Videos among other places (there’s a lot of options out there). You can simply type in “How to pronounce [word]” in Google search and it should give you several references. (Similar comment for 0:18 appraisal, 1:11 consultation)

0:11 “with” was a little slurred - be sure to read at a slow enough pace to fully pronounce the word and use clear enunciation and articulation. It’s very important as voice actors that we speak clearly so we can be understood. (Similar comment for 1:28 designer, 1:44 complimentary)

0:26 “No fuss, no muss” was reversed in order during the read. When reading auditions in general, do pay attention to not changing words in the copy for at least one of your takes. It’s okay to make some changes or play around with the script and include improv, but it’s also important to be able to read copy as written - after all, the writer may have chosen the wording in the script for a particular reason and could possibly be offended at having it changed by someone just hired to voice it - so just bear that in mind.

0:32 “Entrée” was read as “entry”. Be careful about changing the words in the script. :)

0:36, 1:35, 2:07  “purchase” instead of “purchases” - minor word change

0:49 read “two to a tustomer” instead of “two to a customer”. When doing auditions or actual gigs, be sure to listen back through your recording and look for any errors or mistakes. It’s generally better to catch them before you submit rather than having the client come back to you for pick-ups.

0:53 “mileage” mispronounced as “mill-eage”

1:28 missed the word “luxury”

1:30 missed the word “select”

1:47 When you misread (happens to everyone and it’s okay!), it’s highly encouraged to start again at the beginning of the sentence or paragraph or a point that would make it easy to remove and replace the mistake during editing. If you just keep going and don’t return to a solid point that makes it easy to edit out the mistake, you may need to come back later and re-record, and it becomes challenging to make it sound the same as the original recording. So, a good rule of thumb is to record so that it’s easy to edit later.

1:48 read “tustom” instead of “custom”

1:55 missed “ring”

2:00 read “limitation” instead of “imitation”

For the purpose of this homework to work on projection, I felt that you did well with it, however, there may be room to do more with projection. Think about the scene of being in a gym or large auditorium with no microphone and you need your voice to be heard in every single corner of the room. Engage with your diaphragm and take in a big, deep breath to fill up your lungs so that you have the power to push your voice out.

Keep up the good work and continue practicing!

I'll make sure to keep these in mind! Thank you for the feedback, it is always appreciated!!! ^^ I do need to improve on pronouncing my c's due to speech impediment, but I'll do my best to improve it!
