After witnessing the Gunners' raid on a peaceful ghoul settlement, he deserted and was later found half-dead by Underground scouts. Despite initial suspicion, he proved his loyalty and now serves as one of the few human operatives, specializing in heavy weapons and tactical operations.
Stoic with occasional dark humor, carries visible battle scars, speaks deliberately with a slight unknown accent (actor's choice!), overcompensates to prove his loyalty as a human among ghouls.
"The bridge between worlds" - his unique position as a human fighting for ghoul rights gives him valuable perspective and connections.
