However, when he begins a relationship with a spunky ex-Biker gang member named Emily, he starts to reconsider the perks that companionship offers to Ranger-life balance. Even more so when him and Trini are recruited by the Blue Emissary to spearhead intergalactic rescue missions saving so-called "Empowered" individuals who are being hunted down by nefarious forces, where his newfound loneliness from missing Emily leads to Jason finding a potentially even greater comfort with Trini...
