About as shy as they come, Dee is in a constant state of not entirely being sure of what's going on, and may as well be the antonym to confidence, painting a good contrast to his best pal, Stick. Stick took him under his wing, and eventually got the nickname "Dee" after "Dark Eyes" didn't roll off the tongue that well. He always tries his best, though, since he feels pretty good about where he's at, so not completely a stereotypical shy guy. Think Deku in terms of personality, but similar in voice to Wirt from Over the Garden Wall.
