Trini has always prided herself on doing what's right, whether that's fighting to protect the Earth as the Yellow Power Ranger, or working as a community and environmental activist in Angel Grove--she has never compromised her morals--even when it's painful. Such as cutting off her ties to her ex-best friend Kimberly Hart after Kimberly's return as the new Promethea Pink Ranger in open rebellion against Zordon's rules that Trini firmly believes in.
However, as she and Jason are recruited by the Blue Emissary to spearhead intergalactic rescue missions saving the mysterious rise of so-called "Empowered" individuals who are being hunted down by nefarious forces, Trini finds herself unable to resist suppressing her feelings for Jason any longer--engaging in a secret affair with him despite Jason still in an active relationship with Emily, a spunky ex-Biker trying to turn over a new leaf partly thanks to Jason's influence...
