Side character - She does have an end. I am just unsure where to fit it in the script right now
(F) late 30s. Must speak fast but clear as though she is plucking thoughts out of the thousands that are spinning around in her head. Must be able to convey madness, paranoia and insanity as this is how she speaks. Make sure words aren't lost. Although her voice is late 30s, a touch of old crone voice, not too much, would be advantageous for her personality. She sounds late 30s in the anthology episode and in the first episode, this diminishes over the course of the miniseries. Must also be able to convey an agonizing cry of pain as her elbows are smashed with sledgehammers in the first scene,
I would prefer audio raw but with some noise reduction if there is background noise or hiss. No other enhancements please. Payments are £20 for every episode she has lines in.

Alice is the nutty, insane lady who lives in Serenity. She is harmless but spouts a lot of rubbish about the citizens such as Betsy is a witch who performs witchcraft with children's corpses (She doesn’t, don’t worry) and Kimberly Hamilton sacrifices her horses to Demons (She doesn’t either)
Alice also holds very important insights although this is lost to the madness and is the one who actually picks up on Masons abuse and alerts Jamie about it which springs him into action to put a stop to it. She may be wrong about the citizens however through her craziness the important messages she picks up gets garbled within her own paranoid thoughts. She is half feral and her mind has deteriorated.
She can sense when there is evil nearby (Evil being the Purgatorians).For voiceover work, she is crazy, insanely crazy but not overacted pantomime style. Please see the 2015 clip for the portrayal needed for her.
An example of Alices first scene. This is the type of voice I need but more manic in delivery. Not giggly as everything she says she believes is true through paranoid delusions.
Context
Line 1 - Alice is warning Jamie of Masons abuse. However this is lost in the madness that she speaks in. Her paranoia, her insanity. Nobody knows whether to treat her words as nonsense or truth with the manner of which she speaks them.
Line 2 - Same as line 1 but this time she is warning Jamie that Masons death is close. Once again this can be lost in the madness of how she speaks.
Line 3 - You need to imagine the pain that you would feel if your elbows had a sledgehammer brought down upon them. Convey the pain you think someone would imagine in this case in reality.

(The whole line. Crazy, Insanity, Madness, not anger) Evil is around, it is everywhere including our own city. The shouts of anger, screams of a child, it echoes throughout the night. It bounces off the walls and screeches through the air. I don’t trust you, i don’t trust anyone, not even myself but you must stop the evil. The child of whom I speak lives nearby. Cruelly mocked by those he loves, hurt by those he trusts, evil surrounds him. I speak of the one child this village possesses, the one child hurting, in pain. I hear him every night, the shouting gets louder, the screams get clearer. This is no cold, this is no illness. All evil is manmade and evil surrounds that house.
(The whole line. Crazy, Insanity, Madness. Not anger) The time in nigh, evil is coming. He is claiming the lives of those who have succumbed to darkness. I shouted my warnings but they fell upon deaf ears no they are paying the price. He is near, they will soon depart this realm and be as one with Purgatory. It is too late to save them, too late to stop the darkness from taking them.
(Just give me an agonizing cry of pain as her elbows are smashed with a sledgehammer)
Line 1 - It sounded far too sane I'm afraid. She is broken mentally and believes all of her paranoid delusions, whether true or not. Her voice needs to portray this as this is an audio drama and vocals and script are the only ways to convey the personality to the viewers.
Line 2 - Same as line 1. Alice has thousands of thoughts whizzing around her mind. Her lines are (snap) (snap) (snap) in manic way, but not too fast that words are lost.
Line 3 - The bones in her elbow has just been smashed into tiny pieces. She needs more agony in her scream.
