York is important to the 9, for he is the leader and founder of the Black Label Society. He is terrifying and loyal to lord Issac. 

York has the most important role as the 9, for he is to protect Magada's secrets on the red moon. He goes back and forth from the Red moon and the human world. 

York is a calm and stern young man. He acts and talks like he's in his late 30s but he's only 25. He has a low pitch, he talks slow and draws listeners in. The room becomes very intense when York speaks.
