Maya is a 38 year old woman who is the parents of Lola and Grace. She has always encouraged her kids to follow their dreams but that was before Grace's accident where she was a lot harsh on Lola making her out to blame when all she wanted to do was follow her sister and her dream. She knew deep down that it was both of their dreams but she didn’t want them to follow it because she had problems of her own.
