Class Session 2
Penny-Yvonne for Role
Full details of homework is on Closing Credits
Watch with mixing up your T's into D's in words and names like Peter, teetered, and trotted. Also hit on the ends of your words so that they don't get blended in with the next one like in last. Try to over articulate first and get used to saying words like that, like in tongue twisters, and eventually it'll become a part of your natural speaking and flow more naturally.
When making a mistake, don't rush back into it. This can cause you to make more mistakes or give off more of a nervous, panic type of tone. Take a few moments, take a deep breath, and then restart the sentence at the beginning. There's no rush! Read the script a few times beforehand and google any pronunciations you're confused on so that you are more prepared and feel more confident about it. This I feel will help you a lot!
I'd love for you to play around with your tone more. Play with the emotions of the scene and character, add in pre life, etc to really bring a unique touch to this and to bring yourself into it. Great work!
