Class Session 2
Maxter for Role
Full details of homework is on Closing Credits
You sound a bit rushed here so try to slow down a bit. This will help you have more time to really articulate your words and stop them from blending together. Some of the words were hard to understand and you had some mispronunciation mistakes here and there. Try to find a nice, natural flow that works for you. Also be mindful of switching those T's like in peter and teetered to D sounds. Take your time and hit on those and don't leave out the ends of words. You want your words to be nice and clear and once you practice over articulating, you'll eventually be able to gravitate to a more natural pace.
I could hear a little hesitation as well as if you were just rushing through the words to get it done fast, versus really connecting to the scene, character and words. We want the performance to feel real, so take time to visualize the scene, the characters, the emotions, how you want the audience to feel. Take your time and keep practicing your exercises, tongue twisters, and auditioning! You got this!
