Instead of trying to cheer this flower up, shouldn't you be.. y'know.. helping him escape? I mean, Sans isn't exactly a friendly guy. 

No, helping Flowey escape is a bad idea. Sans will find him eventually, and I don't think he would be apposed to using Flowey as a whipping boy to punish us if we make him mad!
