Piper Vasquez, first and foremost, is a determined and career driven girl. Her passion for journalism has taken her places that few could ever think to go. Now, at 17, she's the talent behind a wildly popular mini documentary series entitled 'In The Pines', which she films in the backwoods near her small Idaho resort town. Obsessed with uncovering whatever truth she can, she's the perfect sidekick for someone that's just recently ended up neck deep in conspiracies and monster guts. White Pine tells the story of a combat veteran and former mafioso named Charles Fort who leaves his life of crime to begin hunting monsters.  One summer, his niece and nephew show up to spend a season in the woods to build character and learn some valuable life lessons, but that plan falls short when Charlie is betrayed by his former boss at the behest of a shady contractor. It's up to the trio and an ensemble of weirdos to find out exactly who (or what) put the price on Fort's head.
