Think about the scene of being in a gym with no microphone and you need your voice to be heard in every single corner of the room. Engage with your diaphragm and take in a big, deep breath to fill up your lungs so that you have the power to push your voice out.

It felt as if you were more so reading word for word. For homeworks, I would say to read over them a few times just so you can get familiar with the script and that also gives you more confidence in your words and makes it believable that you know exactly what you're talking about.
