Princess Twilight Acorna Sparkle is the main character of Friendship is Witchcraft. Unlike her original incarnation, this Twilight is an obsessive psychopath who only wants to do what's right for her, and she's willing to get blood on her hooves to do it.

This will be the lead role of this casting call, which consists of 24 lines total (not counting backing vocals). There is a hard deadline for the project, being March 31st, so please do not submit an audition unless you are sure you can make this deadline. I have a base payment of $80 for this role, but if you would like a higher amount I am more than okay with negotiating it.

Please also keep in mind that this project is based on a series with a dark sense of humor. There are no lines that are offensive or bigoted, but there are sexual jokes and references to taboo subject matter. If you are unsure about this, feel free to message me and I can send you the full list of lyrics for you to look over. And of course, no hard feelings if you do not feel comfortable doing the project.

Hi, thanks for auditioning! Your voice here sounds good, but the rapping seems very offbeat. My advice is to not have everything be in one take. This helps let the character voice shine through more and also lets you make sure each line is on-beat. I'd recommend recording the odd and even lines on separate tracks, or just seeing how much you can do in one take and cutting it off after that. If you'd like to submit a new audition with that in mind, feel free to! Thank you again for auditioning regardless though!

Thanks so much for the feedback! Yes, I noticed I did it pretty fast, which made it off beat. Also, it is hard to press play for the beat and record in audacity at the same time. Any tips on that? It's so nice of you to give feedback. I will do another audition soon! I am having fun with it!

What I do in audacity is use "Shift+R" for recording on beat. This creates a new vocal track under the beat and starts playing it at the same time. Set your recording to be a few seconds before your part and that should help a lot!

Thank you so much! I will try that for my new rap audition submission soon!
