Extremely clean setup! Audio leveling, passive noise, and room color seem to all have been thought out and handled masterfully. What do you use and what is your setup like? You did an excellent job with keeping a consistent volume and energy throughout the read despite it being long and challenging. I think that your voice would blend perfectly with advertising / commercial voice over!

Rode NT1, pvc booth with 2 layers of moving blankets, 3 walls have insulation foam board with foam noise panels glued to them.

It also helps that I live on a dead end road so traffic noise is minimal.

Thanks for the comments. I was definitely more exageratedl for this. Almost felt "As seen on TV" voicey...

This was a great read. Not only was your vocal tone clean, but you maintained the same energy for each section. I like that you took deep breaths to really help sustain yourself through some of the longer portions. It really helped to keep your voice even throughout.

You need to stagger your breath a bit, as you tend to take a big breath before each paragraph. While breathing is essential, the timing and placement of breaths should feel natural and not disrupt the flow of the read. Right now, the 2-second pause before each new paragraph is noticeable and takes away from the momentum of the performance. It has that pattern that was mention in class. Instead of taking one large inhale at predictable spots, try working on breath control exercises to allow for smaller, controlled breaths throughout the read. This will help maintain a more seamless and conversational delivery.

Your projection is pretty solid, and while I do think you can give a bit more, you are hitting the sweet spot, and your setting seems believable, which makes the delivery feel powerful and engaging. This is a strong aspect of the read, and it makes the performance feel commanding and well-placed for the setting.

Pronunciation is strong, and I can hear that you are actively trying to change up your delivery. These variations feel good and add dimension to the performance. However, the placement of breaths is slightly distracting, so focusing on smoother breath control will help keep the performance more immersive.

There are hints of a smile throughout, which is great—it shows that you are having fun with the read and enjoying the performance. This energy is engaging and inviting, but it fades slightly towards the end. The stamina needs some work to ensure that the same level of energy is sustained from start to finish. If the energy dips, it makes the ending feel weaker than the beginning, so focusing on breath-supported endurance exercises can help maintain a consistent performance.

Overall, this is a strong read with great projection, pronunciation, and variation. The next step is to smooth out breath placement, maintain energy all the way through, and ensure the pacing remains natural. Keep up the great work! I do like your set-up. Sounds very crisp and clean.
