Jesster for Role
Full details of homework is on Closing Credits
Sounds like projection to me! :)
I can hear a little bit of projection, but we want to have a lot more to fit the scenario given. This is a good starting point though! You want your voice to boom with power almost like a shout but using your diaphragm and feeling it in your chest. Take in big deep breaths!
I could hear some words you mispronounced so make sure you are staying accurate to the script. Sometimes if you change a word, it could change the overall meaning of a scene or person so we want to avoid that.
For the most part it sounded pretty clear, but make sure you really articulate your words so none of them slur together and get lost in each other.
When you flub up and have a mistake, you don't need to rush back into it straight away. Give yourself a moment to reset, take a deep breath and then dive back into it. A lot of times people get into their heads and will start to rush or lose their momentum, so don't let it frazzle you.
Try to take big, deeper breaths so you aren't taking micro breaths between words. That can mess with the overall flow of the read. Keep practicing your exercises! Good job!
