Abridgedimension Neptunia [URGENT RECAST]
rena for Compa
Compa is literally retarded. Being the classic dumb blonde, Compa doesn't even know what she's saying half the time. She usually tries to use the literal pronunciation of whatever words she's saying (i.e. Happen-ed). Her voice needs to be rather high (almost to the pitch of Princess Peach's voice... or at that pitch). And due to the fact that she's a ditz, her sentences need to be slightly drawn out, because she tries to collect the miniscule amounts of thoughts she has before she actually completes her sentence.
Iffy, what's this weird miasama? Are we going to die... or get... ra- *snoring sounds*
Umm, Mister Mouse. I'm not exactly into beast-ee-tal-i-tree, so can you get off me please?
Don’t worry about it. I forget things all the time, and I turned out perfectly fine!
Extra: *Improv*
I redid the addition so here it is, I hope this is an improvment
Yes, it definitely is an improvement, the pitch and pacing are right where I was hoping for. Now my only problem is just your mic, it doesn't sound too good, may I ask what you're using to record?
I'm using a blue yeti...and it might be because I was facing away from the mic a bit so I could read the text, I'm sorry it sounded bad..
Also if you don't mind me asking was it the audio that was bad?
Yeah, the audio sounds off, especially if you're using a Yeti. It could be your recording environment, or perhaps you're using too much noise removal in your editing, try lowering the settings a little, it just doesn't sound right.
Oh now I see, I just listened to the recording now and I see that yes it does sound off/not right but I'm not using any noise removal in my editing because I don't edit it, I mess it up each time I do edit the recording but I'll see if I can fix it, I'm sorry for all the trouble
Hmm... maybe it's just your actual vocal tone, it's making the audio sound a little weird to me. I went ahead and listened to a couple of your other auditions on this site, and the recording sounds right. Now that I think about it and look at the sound waves, it could be mic peaking. In this case, try turning the recording volume and/or the mic gain down a little, that way it won't peak and it will sound just about right... probably.
Okay I will try that, if I can get the gain right would you like me to redo the addition again and see if it works?
Sure, but this time email me the audition, I don't want to have this page get completely swarmed by on VA XD. My email is [email protected]
Okay XD I will be sure to do that!
