Blades is a filthy, underhanded street brawler at heart, and he takes pride in it. The idea that his alternate mode and function as air support can keep him away from combat irritates him. Blades prefers to use his rotors to eviscerate a Decepticon from antenna to exhaust than to fly. When he battles, he wants to feel his opponents' gasoline splatter against his steel skin. Blades does his job well, but if there's an opportunity to get his hands dirty, you can bet your processor he'll find it.
