• This is Kara, and despite raising her son Koa as a teen single mom, she somehow managed. But now, in the present, she finds herself pretty sick, and she has to rely more on her son and her brother. Despite every challenge she faced throughout their lives, she wouldn’t trade her son for the world. That doesn’t mean it’s all easy, though, as she struggles with fear for her son. Raising him to this point was a battle in itself, which is one of the reasons her body is so tired now. She’s known for being kind and caring, soft but also anxious and self-deprecating.
