(Being helpful, then shouting as he runs ahead of the group, going quieter when he mentions trees cant travel, then shouting again much more firm and commanding) "You're looking for the mountain? I can take you both there. We've got a long way to go, so warm up these muscles; let's make it like a tree, and get outta here... uhm trees can't actually travel, but, you get the point! Move it, before those things find us!"

(friendly, firm, final) "Come on. Let's get to your mountain.”

(very animated, punctuated, friendly) "Yea, well. I may not have liked strangers in my home, but I'm not a jerk either."
