Sae Niijima is a major character in the Persona 5 sub-series within the Persona series. She was previously an antagonist of the first semester. She is the older sister of Makoto Niijima, and her legal guardian since their father's murder a few years before the beginning of the story. Sae works as a public prosecutor of the Tokyo District Special Investigation Department at the Public Prosecutors Office.
