The unlucky for Young Adult Trainers
This audition encapsulates the teen to young adult aged group of trainer classes, including Rich Boy (M), Lady (F), Psychic, Battle Girl, Waiters, Waitresses, and Ace Trainers.
I am looking for several voices of all voice types that encompass the range between teens and young adults. Each trainer class in this group has specific qualities that should be reflected in their performance. Rich boys and ladies should put on upper class airs, with the boys attempting to sound sophisticated and the ladies a bit on the sweeter, though that can be substituted for haughtiness. Psychics should have a calm intensity honed by meditation; this is contrasted by the battle girls’ loud and feisty energy. Lastly, ace trainers should be put together, confident, and ready to fight. These roles are largely up to interpretation within the described qualities.
12 roles will be cast in this group. Please read all lines if you audition for this group regardless of gender (may change your interpretation).

[A RICH BOY smugly challenging the player.] Are you cool riding a roller coaster? When you ride a roller coaster, the speed can make you dizzy. I’m going to make your head spin with a Pokemon battle that’s just as intense!
[A BATTLE GIRL reciting an adage.] The problem is never whether you can battle or not. It’s whether you will battle or not.
[An ACE TRAINER earnestly testing the players’ values.] Are you happy just hanging out with Pokemon? Or do they have to be strong? We’ll see which type you are!
