Voice ONE OC, cuz I need it for another RP
patronix for Zephaniah Typha
Zephaniah Typha is a cringe-y OC I made quite recently and plan on incorporating into a casting call I'm joined in, but since I don't have a MAN enough voice for it I'm heading to CCC once more. Zephaniah is a normally opinionated, edgy teenager/emo, but since the RP is in a medieval fantasy like time it'll be somewhat harder to incorporate some stereotypical norms.
It's not just a phase, mom! (Optional)
What makes you so special, huh? You brought this upon yourself, so face the consequences. (Preferably blunt, but you can play with the emotions on this one)
But, mom! What do you mean you already signed me up for guards training? I told you I don't want to live that life! I want to study magic, to-to heal people, and make your lives better. You know what happens to guards, mom. They get killed. Just like dad was. (You can be an emo teen on this one with angsty-ness, but-and I know I already put but once-it is preferred to be louder at the start and sober down to a regular talking voice or smaller.)
And yet again, I am in awe with the auditions that have been sent. Your audition was amazing! (I say that a lot but oh well) The complete stereotypicality of the first line was perfect! Exactly what I'd imagine for a teen going over the whole "emo" phase. The blunt, almost sense of "I'm better than you" and slight almost aristocratic sense of ego was beautiful. While I did describe him as a somewhat cliche tsundere anime protagonist, the emotion in that line was something incredibly unexpected yet was wonderfully unique and brought out another possible personality to his 2-dimensional character. I LOVED it. It had more depth to it than what I pictured and that's exactly why it was incredible, amazing, stellar. The third line however had a completely different take to it from the other auditioners. Th third line by far has to be my favorite of the already amazing voice clip. The aggression at the start that fades into a less than somber almost sensitive-vulnerable and it was absolutely, positively the most supercalifragilisticexpialidocious thing I've heard all day. The anger/irritation for the starting sentence gave a glimpse almost on to how much he cares about all the things happening, for if he didn't care he wouldn't be that angry. And because it was directed towards his mother it showed his underlying "soft" side. When you said "to-to heal people" it was way more determined than what I thought would be. With that aggression it brought another thing to the table. When speaking that line softly it brought a sentimentality to the idea, and a more yearning to the job, however when spoken with that very aggression you did it inferred his PASSION and will to do those things, and it...was...awesome. Hopefully I didn't sound to mean when I said stereotypicality, though; it was meant to be more of a compliment-y word but after reading it, it sounds a little harsher than expected. To late now, though :P. Thank you VERY much for auditioning. (probs 3rd time I'll say it: "It was amazing...and considering the very few people that auditioned, it very nice of you." So thank you for auditioning." Sorry for the word vomit. -Grelik (P.S. I forgot to mention this, but your mic quality is incredible. It's clear with no background noise and I couldn't hear any pops whatsoever! It was a bit static-y, but there was literally nothing else wrong. Heck I'm surprised you even auditioned for this considering how pro-quality your mic is. Then again, everyone who auditioned has a mic way better than the one I have [literally the built in computer one] so I'm surprised that the people that have auditioned, auditioned at all)
Thanks for all the kind words! It makes me incredibly glad to know that you enjoyed my audition. I'm looking forward to seeing how all of this pans out in the future!
