Axel is a major role in The Walking Dubbed and a primary member of Rick's group after they encounter the Prison Gang. Axel is a large man who comes off as a creep and untrustworthy but proves to be one of the more trusted members that joins Rick's group for the longest of the Prison Gang. He has a very common catch phrase; that of asking "You follow me?" at the end of every statement or question.
He makes his first appearance in Issue 13 and has his last appearance in Issue 47. He is killed by The Governor during his attack on the prison.
What we are looking for with Axel:
A deep groveling voice with a life time of smoking. We want someone who can have a booming voice that can bring a distinct gruff nature to the cast. Think Biker; think Francis from Left 4 Dead; but even deeper and older.
