Melly is one of the leading ladies in the musical; she is 17 years old and the StuCo president.
Melly has two younger siblings; Lottie, a 9th grade girl, and Trenton, a 10th grade boy.
Melinda is very distant with her siblings and envies how "normal" they are.
Melinda has virtually no friends in her eyes when in reality, everyone loves her.
Melinda is very dedicated to school and student council but despises interacting socially.
Melinda has many solos and would most likely be a big part of the ensemble.
Yeah, whatever. (pause) No, mom. It doesn't work that way. It isn't a disease, mother! (pause) Fine. Think what you want. I guess you can go back to spending time with your normal daughter, huh?
