The main character. This is a role that will involve singing. Some facts about Obed are that he is very sweet, kind, good natured, and brave. For much of the story is also taken aback by hardship, too, so he is a little sensitive. He is easily discouraged.

(friendly, emphasis on ‘you’) “Oh, Maharu. How are you tonight?”
(desperate, pleading) “This is my home, and you are my pack. I would never hurt you. It’s Maharu, he attacked me, he said something about how the era of faith is ending tonight.”
(down, slightly worried) “I, just… I don't know what to do, Lord.”
I love how you did this! Very expressive! I think for the calm, friendly parts, like the first line, you can go a little less hard. Leave room for Obed to speak in a softer, happy tone, nothing tense. That's all my critique would be, for his character in particular. You have a Kung Fu Panda "Po" sound almost, and I love that. Obed is, however, a singing character, are you able to swing that?
