She is cranky, skeptical, and quick to draw her flintlock on anyone who would give her a reason to be suspicious. She harbors an old resentment for mages and their ilk from her religious upbringing.
OLD WOMAN: …Did I hear someone’s in need of weapons? I can remedy that. // NARRATOR: The old woman’s face is grim but her eyes gleam devilishly. She raps on a section of wall, which swings open to reveal a concealed shelf. Within is an impressive collection of weaponry: flintlock pistols, gleaming blades, and quivers of wicked-looking arrows. // OLD WOMAN: My Great-Uncle Bertrand had a penchant for collecting weapons.
