Tao (タオ, Tao?) is a secondary character in Beastars. He is a second-year student at Cherryton Academy as well as a member of the drama club. The first time he is presented in the series, he is with the new student team of the drama club. He is shown to be somewhat fearful and not very confident, but more than anything it is due to the imposing presence that Louis had on stage during practices for the school play. With the passage of time, he shows himself to be a very kind and compassionate animal. He enjoys being part of the drama club.
