There are 7 different characters, with the character of Arrogant Ari as the main character.

This is a book written for Orthodox Jewish children. As such, there are Hebrew words in the book that need to be pronounced properly. In order to take on the role of Arrogant Ari or his mother, you need to know how to pronounce words such as, Shabbos, chaf, challah, aleph bais, mitzvah. 

The other characters can be played by anyone.
