Malco
Steve Kasan for Nathaniel Hawkingfisher
Nathaniel Hawkingfisher is a retired adventurer from the 1940s. In his heyday, he would discover so many creatures and cultures that he would make a name for himself. As time passed, he would shift his focus from adventuring to family. While he has had issues trying to connect with his birth son, he would put all his love and attention on his grandson Malco, hoping he will bring honor back to the family name.

Life is like a book. If you spend most of it worrying about the world's problems, then you're just a newspaper.
Let me tell you about my favorite hero, he is the man that I wish I could've been so many years ago. Honest, Kind, and always puts his family first. My grandson.
Well, you read the lines correctly. But I don't feel like there was any real feeling behind them. Nathaniel is an old, withered bird with a bit of a southern drawl. I didn't get that with your line reads. I suggest looking at actors like Sam Elliot or Matthew McConaughey and studying their voices and how they'd sound with age. That said, I wish you good luck on your future endeavors.
