When King Ivan was still a prince, he fell into a dark cave. Encountering a massive cache of black diamonds, he was approached by Abysno, who promised him eternal youth and power, which he was rather easily swayed by. He has no wife and no blood heir, only his adopted son John, who he is more and more worried that will take his place as king. An incredibly strong fighter, he is stricken by the pull of Abysno who controls his very soul. He is the face of the evil and commands his generals and armies to do harsh things, even to possess and turn his son to do Abysno's evil deeds. He has no power, he is merely a vessel unaware that he is growing weaker by the day.
