Unpleasant Gradient, or simply just Unpleasant, is an NPC that can be found in-game and will enter the elevator. Unpleasant appears as a thin rectangle with a gradient consisting of the colors green, pink, and light brown.  Unpleasant does not speak and seemingly does not react to other characters. Every other NPC in the game hates them as they are apparently too unpleasant to even be near, and NPCs will usually make insults or death threats towards them. Some NPCs may specifically mention negative experiences with Unpleasant, such as Infected bringing up that his pet cat p0pt4rt went missing after being left alone with Unpleasant or that Unpleasant snapped his own skateboard in half, and Reddy stating that Unpleasant is banned from Red Ball Diner for an unspecified reason. NPCs will often comment on Unpleasant staring at them in a creepy way despite their lack of eyes or a face. NPCs will also usually point out that Unpleasant smells extremely bad.

I see Unpleasant as an extremely rude, negative thing that hates everything and everyone,  so uh, do what you will :)
