What a way to maintain the energy throughout the entire piece! Awesome job. I loved your finale of the tongue twister..

Melody Rainelle

Nice projection and energy!

0:11 "GGG". If this were a commercial, you would generally want to throw a lot of emphasis and confidence on the company brand (maybe even some warmth like a hug) - after all - that's important (and they're probably the one paying you!). :)

0:19 Loved the character laugh you threw in! :D

0:36 Nice work with the creature voice and very clever using a word as the dance around sound. (Useful trick using a word or part of a word or letters in reaction sounds for video games too!)

0:51 Best-est-est - It's good you made the "-est" sound different each time getting louder and bigger. In another take, I'd encourage you to play with change ups on the second and/or third "est" to put more dynamics into the repetition instead of just getting louder (not that louder is a bad choice at all!). Maybe throw a little sing-songy ending or do something unexpected.

1:29 Great ending! Buttoned up well.

1:50 Excellent ending on your tongue twister! Nice change-up/bold/unexpected move. This personality and play will definitely increase your chances of getting a casting director's attention.

One of the goals of this homework assignment was to practice articulation, and I feel like there is some room for improvement in articulation with this read. There were several words throughout that could have been hit harder and made more clear. Try to focus on really making sure you hit all of the parts of the words and syllables. For example "around" the "D" sound isn't really heard at 0:01. And another example is at 0:10 "delightful" you can't really hear the "T" sound. The ends of words often get left off or end with a soft sound, so when you are practicing articulation make sure the full word is pronounced.

That being said, if this were an actual audition, I think this would have been a solid read.

I really enjoyed listening to it. Well done! Loved the energy and projection and the character you brought to the read. One of the big next steps that will help you even more is to get more acoustic/sound treatment for your recording space to cut down on the room reverb. Once you wrangle that beast even more opportunities will open up for you. Keep up the good work!
